Gatlinburg Garden Club - Gatlinburg Garden Club meets at 1 p.m. the first Thursday of each month, September through April, at the Gatlinburg Community Center. The executive board meets there at noon. Toastmasters - Great Smoky Mountains Toastmasters meets at noon on Friday's in classroom No. 1 at the Fort Sanders-Sevier Medical Center. They are a beginning chapter of Toastmasters International and invite any interested parties to attend their meetings. Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization devoted to the improvement and development of individual communication and leadership skills. Members prepare and deliver formal speeches on topics of their own choosing; gain personal confidence; and sharpen their listening and evaluation skills.
