Current Programs - The Work of Our Church

Gatlinburg Presbyterian Church has found ways to spread the joy of Christ’s teachings through many activities both locally and around the world. Many of our efforts are initiated by members of the congregation who are personally involved and keep the other members involved with them. Our mission giving remains a significant portion of budgeted funds.

One of these relationships is the Kenya Islands Mission (KIM) on the shores of Lake Victoria, Kenya. Another is with efforts to provide medical care and education to some of the people of Nepal through the Gandaki Boarding School and Friends of Shanta Bhavan Medical Clinic.

Locally, we support the Mountain Hope Clinic, Sunset Gap, and the Sevier County Food Ministries. Our church has become a top fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Walk each year.

Our Fine Arts Series and Music, Drama, and Art Workshop bring many new friends into our sanctuary and provide much joy for all that participate.

Gatlinburg Presbyterian Church is well represented in inter-faith activities in Gatlinburg and Sevier County.
