| La Mision Hispana "Jesucristo es La Puerta" is a multi-cultured congregation of Latinos from Central and South America.
The Congregation meets every Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. for a very Latin flavored celebrative worship service and every Wednesday evening for corporate prayer and ESL Classes. A unique partnership exists between the two congregations! Not only is one congregation North American and the other Latino, but also the Latino congregation is Baptist. The Gatlinburg Presbyterian Church warmly received the "homeless" Baptist congregation in February of 2002. Wonderful partnership of sharing culture, fellowship and reaching the ever-growing Latino community in Sevier County exist between the two congregations. |
