Let Us Never Forget

"A nation reveals itself not only by the men it produces, but also by the men it honors, the men it remembers"

- President John F. Kennedy

"The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any way, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional as to how they perceive the veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation."

- George Washington

It doesn't take much to acknowledge the service of our Veterans. All it takes is a grateful heart.

Statement of Mission

As a church in the gateway city of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, we seek to be a church for those living here and for the many visitors to our city who come to enjoy the beauty of God's creation by providing facilities for religious services, partaking of the sacraments and worship of God through the mediation of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.

We challenge ourselves and others to grow spiritually through worship, repentance, education, nurture, discussion, fellowship, outreach and evangelism, and to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in prayers, works and actions to strengthen our saving faith.

We shall reach out in Christian fellowship to minister to others locally, nationally, and internationally through sharing our talents, gifts and resources, and participate in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ as Lord of the Universe.
